Our initial loss prevention solution, The Wheel® Cart Containment system, was launched to reduce cart loss and ensure ample carts were available for store patrons. The solution was welcomed by the industry and quickly adopted by major retailers. In the mid 2000’s, Gatekeeper Systems saw an opportunity to leverage its locking wheel technology to solve an increasingly common pushout theft problem and created the Purchek® system, the first of its kind.
