We are seeking an experienced Services Product Manager to support our product management division at our primary place of business in Foothill Ranch, California. As a Services Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing product portfolio and developing new products, managing them through the toll gate process, from conception to fruition. 


The successful candidate for this position will be a highly motivated, strategically oriented leader with strong business acumen, knowledge in both the product and business environment, and experience in the technology industries. The ideal candidate would have previous experience with subscription-based service products, productization of analytical data and service products related to the deployment and ongoing management of data collection sensor networks.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Track and manage P & L for existing services product portfolio.

Evaluate product pricing and utilizes market research data on a regular basis to ensure optimal health of the business and the ever-changing competitive landscape. Develop Insights and analytics into product line pricing and profitability.

Conduct voice of customer research to understand the needs of the market. Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill service product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.

Define & develop new services products and project manage them through a tollgate process.

Develop and present business cases to initiate, prioritize and justify toll gate programs.

Gather, manage & specify services product requirements while refining customer facing roadmaps.

Guide IT development efforts centered around introduction and ongoing management of services related product.

Build robust process for sales funneling and opportunity management to drive revenue growth from existing install base.

Build service sales training material and train sales reps on selling and driving the value of service products.

Ability to work at principal place of business in Foothill Ranch, CA, for minimum of three (3) business days per week


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

Must have minimum 3 years’ market research experience and experience selling service contracts or other intangible service products

Minimum 3 + years’ experience in product management, solution and/or program management in a technical role, technical marketing, or equivalent.

Experience working with cross-functional teams

Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships

Ability to initiate new programs, obtain senior management buy-in and support and own the training product lifecycle from definition to launch and regularly manage feedback.

Experience adhering to deadlines for marketing launch

Technical background or experience in computer science, computer or equivalent engineering roles.

Experience writing product and market requirements documents for technical offerings.

Experience in developing value propositions, positioning and targeting

Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze data
