ROLE SUMMARY

The role of the Sales Coordinator is to process purchase orders/work orders for parts shipments (Reorders) for multiple retailers, update customer portals as required, complete general contractor information packets and customer facing reports to support the sales department.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Process new customer purchase orders using the Company’s order processing system
  • Prepare and process sales quotes for parts shipments of customer’s request
  • Ship product to meet customer requested delivery dates
  • Interface with the sales team to review accuracy of parts shipping
  • Update customer and/or sales team with order shipping status or shipment delays
  • Communicate and interact with Account Managers to revise purchase orders and NTE as required
  • Follow up on sales orders to make sure they are on schedule
  • Process return labels and RMA’s for unused product
  • Perform required functions in customer online portals
  • Attach required documents and process sales orders for invoicing
  • Complete general contractor information packets
  • Create and monitor customer-facing or company internal reports as required
  • Responding to questions or complaints from customers and give post-sales support when requested
  • Contribute to overall customer satisfaction by promptly answering emails and phone calls
  • Complete site plan design for cart containment systems

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively without continuous supervision

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent
  • 1 prior related sales support experience
  • Experience in a technical or manufacturing environment is highly desirable. 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to all team members and levels within the organization.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers. 

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member works near moving mechanical parts inside the warehouse environment. The working environment is in an open office setting, so noise level is mild to moderate.
