Q: Who are Gatekeeper Systems' customers?

GENERAL SYSTEM INFORMATION

Q: Does the MobilityManager work with any motorized cart?

A: The MobiltyManager was designed to work with any Amigo or Mart Cart brand motorized carts.

Q: How will my customers know the cart will disable if it is removed from the premises?

A: An alarm will sound on the unit if the user attempts to remove the electric cart from the store.

Q: How successful is the system in the prevention of motorized cart theft?

Q: What kind of warranty does the system have?

A: The MobilityManager comes with a comprehensive one-year parts and labor warranty covering all manufacturer's defects.

Q: Is there an extended warranty available?

A: Yes. An additional year of warranty protection can be purchased at anytime within the first year of installation.

Q: Is the MobilityManager a large piece of equipment?

A: Actually the MobilityManager is a small black piece of equipment that is discreetly placed on the back of the cart, virtually unseen to customers.

Q: Will the MobilityManager lock zone ruin my flooring?

A: No, the MobilityManager utilizes a Wireless Transmitter Antenna which negates the need for any cutting into flooring surfaces.

Q: Once the MobilityManager has been immobilized the electric cart, how do you get the cart to work again?

A: The electric cart is easily reactivated with one touch of a button on the store's remote control or by pushing it back into the unlock field.

Q: How does the system affect store customers?

A: Customers using motorized carts in parking lots are at greater risk of injury from vehicles because of the low profile of the carts. The MobilityManager protects the customers from operating the motorized cart outside of the store. The MobilityManager is virtually unseen and otherwise goes unnoticed by customers.

Q: Does the MobilityManager lock the motorized cart at the same point every time?

A: Once the locking signal has been tuned to specific store requirements, motorized carts will stop at essentially the same distance from the signal. However, the speed at which the cart is being driven will in fact determine the exact point at which the MobilityManager will lock the motorized cart within range of the signal.

Q: Will the locking signal interfere with any other electronic devices, such as pacemakers, car alarms, or cell phones?

A: The MobilityManager are Very Low Frequency (VLF) and are encrypted for the specific purpose of locking electric shopping carts. All MobilityManager components comply with FCC Part 15.

Q: Will motorized cart lock at other locations inside the store or far away from the Wireless Antenna signal?

A: No. The locking signal carried by the Wireless Antenna is fine-tuned at the time of installation to only broadcast the signal between one and five feet. The signal range is then thoroughly tested by a Gatekeeper Field Service Technician.

Q: What is the service response time if the system does go down?

A: Customers who notify Gatekeeper Systems of a system failure will receive a visit from a certified Gatekeeper Field Service Technician within 24 hours of the initial service call.
